This is very true Dan. We aren't allowed to do proper analytical research here in the US because the Government is standing in the way. That makes it difficult to find the correct match for each patients needs. Obviously physicians in the US know very little about cannabis and it's efficacy so they sure wouldn't know how to recommend what to use. They are very used to the drug companies coming to their conferences and pitching their product and telling what to use it for. It is often a one way street of info Drug companies > Doctors.

I am a licensed grower and am really wondering where the average patient is learning just what kind of marijuana to use for your illness, very few Dr's are saying smoke a certian strain of weed. All strains work differently, Sativa is used more in connection with mental health and epilepsey, while Indicus is used more for pain control. One is forced to do their own research for what to use if they REALLY want to help their particular ailment and even then if one grows their own they are stuck between a rock & a hard place when it comes to getting stock.

I think this is great. "Local units of government may not zone out medical marijuana farms or impose conditions of operation more stringent than state regulations."

They will try as their lawyers are advising them that this is work around to block it. Unfortunately, they will fail with their zoning restrictions and moratoriums.

You can feel the pressure of dollars and public opinion forcing this issue to the forefront. Capitalists cannot stand to let money fall through the cracks and people are sick of being jailed for possession. Couple years here and full legalization is on federally.

California is finally getting this ball rolling. People say Californai is out of control here. Granted, there are more dispensaries than need be even in my opinion, but the sky has not fallen there. There is no weed crisis. People are just going about there day as usual. Crime has not skyrocketed and the only thing that needs to be done really is get proper zoning for where these shops can be and how many and Cali is good to go.

Cannabis is just another brand of beer.

Law enforcement is always going to be against this stuff. But hey, we incarcerate too many people as it is anyway. More people than any nation in fact.

I personaly am very happy to see yet another state pass medical marijuana use for patients with medical needs. I am a cancer patient who has dealt with chemotherapy, a liver transplant May 2009 and return of the cancer and test chemotherapy now. For patients who truly need the relief that marijuana can give this is a wonderful day.I would accept any compassion that gives me the right to ease the pain. They are on the right road anyways.

This seems like a win except for the state of New Jersey will regulate all the cannabis production and sales. This will definitely turn into a huge sore spot for patients. Plus, the crooks in the legislature over there will milk it for every penny.

[...] are happy to announce that we have restructured our caregiver service and are now offering a preferred caregiver option. At the request of many patients we have come up with a new set of caregiver requirements. [...]
